Licensing Our Designs

Sometimes you need more options than buying from our retailers allows. That’s where licensing comes in. We work with businesses of all sizes, as well as individuals.

Licensing gives you access to a design file for a set period of time, with agreed-upon limits as to volume printed and end use. Our design licensing starts at $250, depending on license type, terms, usage, and the design.

Non-Exlusive

Non-exclusive licenses give you the right to print the design elsewhere but do not limit the sale of the design through my other channels, such as Spoonflower.

Exclusive

Exclusive licenses give you the right to print the design elsewhere, while I pause direct sales of products featuring the design for a set amount of time. Exclusive licenses can also be limited to specific products. For example, you might purchase a license to exclusively use a design on a children’s clothing line, but the design would still be sold as raw fabric.

Buyouts

In some cases, we do offer complete buyouts of a design, where we sell you the copyright and send you the full layered file. These buyouts are generally for the full design only, with buyouts of motifs featured in the full design incurring an extra cost.
